From the days of the first Spencer vacuum cleaning system in 1905, we have been developing high-efficiency vacuum system components. Using this experience, selected vacuum producers have been matched with filter separators and mounted on a common base under the product name, Spencer Industravac® self-contained vacuum systems.
The Industravac family of stationary and mobile vacuum cleaning units starts with the FastVac® and Industravac® V models for one or two users each, then expands into larger systems of the Industravac A, B, C and D series, which can accommodate up to 16 simultaneous operators.
The standardized FastVac and Industravac lines present cost-effective alternatives to custom-engineered central systems, offering the benefits of pre-engineered, highly integrated designs. You are assured of application-matched performance from correctly sized, compatible and proven components. Within the standard model selection, there are varying features such as filter bag or filter cartridge separators, bottom exhausts for outdoor use and multistage or regenerative vacuum producers.
Stationary self-contained vacuums can be dedicated to a single function such as dust or chip collection alongside a metalworking or woodworking machine, or connected to metallic tubing lines in a central vacuum cleaning system. Mobile units can be moved around a facility as needed for on-location vacuum cleaning and spill removal.
Need something other than a stock product? With Spencer, “standard system” never means “fixed design.” We will gladly modify our self-contained vacuum systems with extra functions or features. Some ideas: HEPA final filters; different filter media; custom dirt cans; silencers, blast gates and air bleed systems; special sizes to fit through doors; grounded, anti-spark filter bags; explosion-proof or TEFC motors; special motor voltages, more inlet valves to handle additional operators, mounted and prewired electrical controls, etc.

Standard Spencer self-contained vacuum cleaning systems start with FastVac® and Industravac® V models; both have stationary and mobile versions and serve one or two operators. Larger systems of the Industravac A, B, C and D series can accommodate up to 15 simultaneous operators. Within this selection, there are varying standard features such as filter bag or filter cartridge separators, bottom exhausts for outdoor use and multistage or regenerative vacuum producers.
